-Dear Luke & Pianika, Ange & I (Brad) were on your Tongariro White Water trip last Tuesday (01/09/09). We wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience. As you know New Zealand is full of things to do for tourists and there are so many different operators providing ‘unique’ experiences all over the country. So many in fact that the ‘uniqueness’ starts to fade. You guys offer something more than just the experience – a professionally run company where from the minute you walk in the door you know you are going to be looked after. The enthusiasm and friendliness of you guys and your staff was great. I know it must be hard to continue to provide to that level day in day out with the same enthusiasm but that’s what makes the difference between companies like yours and the others. Keep up the great work and thanks once again for one of the highlights of our two weeks in NZ – you’ll be getting plenty of recommendations from us.

Hello folks
Back in July of this year my family and I were staying at Turangi and undertook a first time ever rafting trip with RAFTING NEW ZEALAND. We were so impressed that I really did want to say something about it and so before the year is finished here it is.
Our family has had numerous tourist experiences here and overseas but this was one of the best ever. It was value for money and having heard of a recent enquiry into a rafting firm in the South Island where someone died rafting I can only say that this company was incredibly saftey conscious.
They had the classic Kiwi easy going style combined with a professional approach to the whole business. We were all equipped with wetsuits and hats and gloves and then shown how to use the boat and ropes and paddles. Our guide kept up a funny friendly commentary while making sure we were all doing the right thing. It was just thrilling enough to be heaps of fun without ever feeling at serious risk.
We were given afternoon tea on the Tongariro river and fed hot dogs when we got back and had showered. The operation was slick enough to be able to sell us photos of our trip (something we hardly ever do) and we were pleased to have them.
I commend this company and it's staff to you for their work and for what they add to the Taupo-Turangi region and to New Zealand tourism as a whole.
